i remember playing this back in 2010 and during the razing of the shire i remember playing as Sauron, charging across one of the bridges to fight Gandalf and getting fucking snatched up by one of the Eagles it was...anticlimactic

Okay, that Uruk rendition of "Blunt the Knives" was incredible

The gd backstab and then immediate cut to Aragorn's tomb at 13:45 had my WHEEZING. That shit was a 10/10 edit. The quotes/puns throughout this video was quality. This game truly makes you feel like a Lord of the Rings: Conquest.

Used to love this game in splitscreen. The Scout being seen as a WMD where everyone starts panicking when someone declares "Its come to this!" and suddenly a misty bastard with knives is running around hunting down heroes like they owe him lunch money

this is by far my favourite lord of the rings game and it got no love despite being by the same guys who did battlefront 2 real shame absolute staple of my school days getting home playing halo, fable and lotr conquest

I mean, I want to be clear on this. My friends and I used to do duels in BF2 so when I got this game we continued to Duel and I played the rogue because I was already infamous in the group for being really annoying with invisibility. I spent the entire match doing a pseudo Peter Griffin cover of the Lord of the Rings theme that I would make louder and more epic whenever I did a backstab successfullly and then make really quiet again when I went invisible again... My friends decided to stop this game specifically with me afterwards.... I don't know if I have any regrets.

Cyan voice acting for some these characters is actually really great. If the next LotR game or show doesn't hire Cyan to voice a character I'd be shocked.

Dude playing as Sauron was the coolest thing I have ever done in this game. He literally pushes peoples souls out of their bodies. Hes such a badass.
