Ever since the AI voice cover stuff took off like a month or two ago, I've always wanted to have this made.
When I first heard this song by Panic at the Disco, I always thought it sounded like Sterling Jarvis' singing voice from the Donkey Kong cartoon, so I had my friend help me put this together. I hope you enjoy, I think it sounds really good!

Credits:
‪@Scorpob‬ Helped make the AI cover possible. Not super familiar with AI cover stuff, so having him on board was great. Also did the epic album cover.
‪@kalomaze1912‬ Provided AI cover guides which Scorpob used.
‪@WhiffyPlush‬ Gave me permission to use his High Hopes Donkey Kong music video for this cover. It works so greatly with the song, so I wanted to have his edit featured here as well.

I have been convinced that Sterling Jarvis can make any song sound better
  • I like to imagine K.Rool looking out the window of his fortress in DK 64, and seeing DK nonchalantly walking up the side of it. With all the speedrunning glitches in that game, it ain't really too difficult to imagine.

Dude for real this something he would sing on the show anyone else miss their childhood

This is perfect. I've always wanted to hear something like this when I was younger. Because I too thought Brendon Urie's vocals had bits of that Sterling Jarvis energy to them. Especially in the "Mama said" verses.

0:58 i like how at this part in the lyrics where it says "mama said don't give up", it shows cranky talking to dk. this implies cranky is dk's mama (at least for the purposes of this song)
