He is the perfect example of the REAL MENTOR❣ if today i learned something it's just because of him. you will always be in my prayers 🙂

Hi my name is Amin I am 73 , worked with freehand , Corel draw , photo shop and I design, I love this software, oh! I am from Cape Town South Africa, would love to master this software, thanks 😊
  • I recently dicovored your channel, after watching your video "10 extensions every architect should know" where I after having used Sketchup for like 8 years now, learned some new features. Now I've been watching most of your videos, even though i consider myself being on an advanced level. But as i'm self taught in the program, i thought maybe i could still learn a few things from watching how you use Sketchup. And i love these small "tips and tricks" you give in most video, some have really improved my workflow! So thanks! I'd love too see a future video, where you went over a bunch of "tips and tricks" that adavanced/self taught users might have missed, or bad drawing habits that could be done more efficiently. And perhaps also a video going over many of the "hidden" keyboard/mouse shortcuts, that really helps with using the program efficiently. An example being pressing "b" for bucket tool, and then holding "alt" to quickly access the color/texture picker. or shift to replace. these shortcuts have all been things i have first learned years inbetween and along the way. and would be great to see a video covering this. For instance, I just first learned today, that you can just double click after a push/pull movement. (Bonus tip 06:05) 😄I thought i was already being efficient with just clicking once on the next rectangle, and then just move the curser too the first door frame, and click again. But this is even faster! Thanks again for creating all this content, and making these fun, easy to follow videos. I will certainly keep watching!
  • @havenisse2009
Really good tutorial. Notice that BEFORE you cut the doors / windows, it is very important to establish the total HEIGHT of the house / floor. If you get that wrong, and try to scale / push/pull the walls, all the doors / windows will have a wrong size.
  • @RayR33
What a fantastic tutorial video. Many thanks for producing.
  • @Arya-td5yl
These tips are awesome.... keep it up 😀👍🏻
  • Hi Alex, I did learn a tip from you today! We deal with hand drawn schematic plans a lot and I did not know that you could scale the image by just typing in the dimension that it should be. I will be using that all the time now! I think it is wonderful what you are providing here, thank you!
  • GREAT INTRO telling exact what i needed and telling that its not for beginners thanks for not wasting my time nice gentlemen
  • @pcatful
I do this sort of thing all the time but like to see your videos for new ideas or a fresh approach. My methods are not the same, but you cover a lot that people can use to develop their work flow. Thank you! On an aside, I'd suggest you change the sound effects /transitions in your videos.
