The way they intruduced the sea into spaces through mirrors or reflective surfaces is just so nice. The architect actually thought about it and didn´t just clump expensive materials and furniture because yes. Those are the small details that show actual interest in the design.

I just love Blue Heron homes. My favorite on this channel to this day is their show home in Las Vegas. The way they integrate indoor and outdoor features, especially with water, is amazing

Blue Heron really is on a different level with their projects. The open design, excessive water features, the multitude of colors, patterns and materials stands them out from other designers. I personally like the use of wood panelling and darker tones here, while most contemporary/modern designs are more fixed on glossy bright ones. Having so many wall-installed art pieces in there is also a big plus, many other homes simply leave most walls empty.

As a geologist I look at the unconsolidated material the house sits on and wonder when part of the house will land on the beach. Also...a mirror as a backsplash to the cook top? Good luck keeping that thing clean.
