For this video, we looked to you guys for help in determining the best watch under $1,000. We started with a Google Form to narrow our initial pool of 34 watches down to only sixteen and then asked you to vote on our Instagram stories through a March Madness-style bracket. There were upsets, a few surprise winners, and a deserving overall champion. What's your top watch under $1,000?

This was freakin fun and awesome ! Let's do another one for the price range of 1.000 - 2.000 $ ! What say you Teddy ?
  • @atahanyldrm1926
I think Casio and Orient getting top 16 in this price point is an amazing achievement considering all of these models are under 250$ while their competitors are above 500$.
  • @tomj3372
Seiko, Tissot and Hamilton are three brands that offer MANY affordable possibilities in great watches!!!
  • @greatlakesdoug6121
The Seiko Alpinist is an amazing looking watch. I can see why it made it so far based solely on visual appeal.
  • @FrogFishLeezerd
It would be interesting to see how many of these watches would also be in the top watches under 500 dollars or under 2000 dollars too! I really liked this bracket idea! Very entertaining!
  • @craiglibby1224
Absolutely love this tournament format, Teddy! Definitely would like to see this at the $500, $1500, $2000, $2500, etc price points and to do annually!

This was a fun and interesting little competition. I'm wearing my 42 mm Hamilton Khaki Field auto today so I was pleased that it's smaller sibling made the semi-final. Great everyday workhorse and contemporary watch, usually available at a very affordable price and way cheaper than the Murph.
  • @dannysimenauer5745
All of these models and brands are great choices. They offer style, affordability, and reliability!
  • @imranpatel4612
As someone who purchased a Hamilton Khaki Field Auto with a black strap as their 1st watch I can truly say I have no regrets. Seeing it come 4th was surprising against the Alpinist. Photos don't do it justice and in person it is stunning. Such a versatile watch.
  • @peterkalos6271
I don’t disagree with the results but I do am kinda surprised. Love both the PRX and alpinist, and it is a very interesting matchup. I know it was NCAA bracket style, but wouldn’t like to see a reshuffle when a brand was facing itself, at least until it’s not longer possible to shuffle. Great video
  • @PiperTallMatt
This was fun... I have 4 of these watches myself... the Orient Kamasu, Orient Bambino (v7), Bulova Lunar Pilot and the Seiko 5 GMT... these have been my "entry level" purchases generally. I also see others that I have been eyeing... the Tissot Gentleman & PRX, CasiOak and Hamilton Field Khaki Auto. Looking forward to the next price range!
  • @robcameron9351
This was so entertaining! Thank you, Teddy. Let’s keep doing these at different price points!
  • @Giovanni1972
I liked it but I recommend giving the specs for each model as you did for the two winners at the end. This is a good way to expand our knowledge of the field of watch choices. Hope you do more of this with different categories of watches.
  • @theaj1nkya
This was amazing! So engaging and well paced. Good one Teddy!
  • @lunchboxjams
Love this. So creative and interactive with your audience. Thank you!
  • @jestrickland1
I'm relatively knew to researching watches, etc., and I really enjoyed this vid and your channel! I've learned quite a bit from your vids, and you've actually altered the direction I was heading in the watch purchasing arena. GREAT STUFF SIR -- please keep up the good work! Cheers
  • @zoosyndrome
Thinking about the the various price-point collection videos that you've done (which I love), I'd point out that the top 2 don't make a bad 2 watch collection, together they are versatile and cover quite a few bases (and if we dig into the top 4 its even better). The data acquired from this sort of head to head bracket format could be the catalyst for the next generation of collection vids.....and we would all be here for it.
  • @01LTO
This has been one of my favorite videos you’ve done! 😀
  • Love these types of interactions with you and your team. Thanks for what you do.
  • @LGC257
Love this idea! Would love to see this at different price ranges or for different brands. Could also be cool to see it for different categories: dive watch, dress watch, etc.
