Tornado throws Runnells home with family of 5 inside

Horrific nightmare...it's the loudest, petrifying act of destruction. I experienced one at night. It's tough but people will amaze you with generosity. Peace to the family!

Bless you hearts. So scary. Very sorry you all went thru this. My children went thru a tornado when they were a baby and 3yo at babysitters house in our neighborhood. The husband was home for lunch recognized train sound grabbed my baby son from a baby bed in the back, put all kids on floor in middle of house and quickly threw quilts on them, He then sheltered them with his body. House was damaged with lots of glass everywhere but everyone was ok. It completely destroyed some houses and the school but ours was untouched with bicycles and trash cans still standing in the carport. I have been forever grateful to him. My sons are 50 now but I remember it like yesterday. I am thankful you have neighbors and friends to help you. Much love to you all as you struggle to rebuild.❤

OMG! THAT WAS HORRIFYING. I SO FEEL FOR YOU, & YOUR FAMILY. I LIVE IN NATCHEZ MS. WE HAD STRONG WIND, & LOTS OF RAIN, THUNDER, & LIGHTENING. IT WAS VERY SCARY...😔

And then, to add insult to injury -- after the tornado, it snowed.

Where and when?

there is no structure going to take a direct hit from a tornado ...here in Dallas $500,000 homes were flattened from a tornado, doesnt matter what it is it will be flattened..

Please get insurance on your properties people!

These tornadoes omg...he went from a home owner to a land owner.... That is some scary stuff all his children and wife... me personally I’m moving far away from tornado alley.....omg the nightmares these kids must have omg I can’t even begin to imagine this torture
