I know why luigi wasn’t able to do the “bang bang” victory pose back in N64. HE HAD NO FINGERS

man those Smash 64 screen transitions were just amazing XD

Luigi's arm flailing animation in Ultimate is my favorite change, mainly because all the other ones ended so awkwardly.

I think my favorite part about Luigi’s planking victory pose is that it literally uses the spring sound effect from Super Mario World in Melee. It just makes it 10 times more enjoyable for me XD
  • 64: This Games Winner is, MARIO! Melee: This Games Winner is, MARIO! Brawl: The Winner is, MARIO! Smash 4: The Winner is, MARIO! Ultimate: MARIO, wins!
  • I like how in Ultimate theirs actually a world in the background instead of them just being in some blank void

I love how they added the 2 other Kirbys for Kirbys victory animation

    better luck next time falco

The melee iteration of that Falcon's victory pose is the best. 21:10 It pushes Falcon's pose to the absolute maximum that the latter iterations never reach again.

The Smash 64 transitions look like PowerPoint transitions and I love that.

When you hear Ness' victory theme in 64, it seems like such an event because of the song and all the cheering.

Geez DK used to be so expressionless. He just kind of looked empty inside, like a circus animal forced to do tricks. Glad they decided to give him more personality from Smash 4 onward.

Yoshi in his raging demon win screen has got to be my favorite thing

I miss Luigi’s waving animation, I loved that one. And 17:18 whatever this one is too.

I never noticed Kirby had 2 victory animations in 64
