The blaux is really good at cooling my lit mobile battery pack So good that you could call it frozen mobile
  • And, they're deleting all the negative comments on their Facebook page.

I bought this product last year during the first heat wave early in the Summer. It was a long wait, but I finally received the Blaux in the fall, when the heat was no longer an issue. I finally used it a week ago to cool down my bedroom for sleeping, but despite the ice trays and the water curtain that should theoretically give it more cooling power than a simple fan, it was basically useless and I had to be less than a foot away from it to even feel the fan blowing at all. If I could turn back time, I would not have bought the Blaux. For the money, I would have been better off buying a regular fan.

Give this Man a medal. Almost 99% of the times, companies hire people just to take their calls without any training or info. They just want an agent to take their calls. I have being there, in that chair with a dude step next to le saying "read the script or you will be fired"

From digging into sketchy Amazon sellers in the past: The reason they're blaming COVID-19 has almost nothing to do with COVID. Many companies are selling this one cooler, and as far as I know, and is common with these sorts of things, there may only be one factory producing this product. They get it OEM badged at the factory and dropped somewhere stateside to be reboxed and shipped out to the customer. Thing is, when demand is heavy on those factories from interested parties, the factories will generally serve their highest paying parties first and slide the window of availability to them based on that, usually even contacting those parties to inform them that they can raise their stake to increase the window of shipments they get. They're not the only ones doing this shady "Oh it's COVID, it's not us", but it's really about keeping that profit margin as high as possible.
  • The fact that you had to give them so much information for them to even FIND your order in the system strikes me as being sketchy as hell. Part of me half expected them to ask you for your cc# when you mentioned that it was charged.
  • @Panda02006
I really appreciate and like that you specifically called out not to give them a hard time and think you are right that they have no idea. Most people with a following wouldn’t do the same so well, done! Great content as always!

Its drop shipping. Crap from China, they are having a hard time getting the stuff. Overall its dropshipping that's why many companies similar products, even unbranded

ken make this a series call it "krazy kens company craskdowns"
  • @alexricky87
I keep hearing "Blaux" as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say it lol.
  • Thank you for encouraging people to be kind to the call center employees and for being an example of that, too.
  • @Tsaukpaetra
"Email is pending" What does that even mean?!? What kind of 80s-era server are they using?
  • @HoldandModify
i laughed when three days after I watched your original video my buddy showed me he had bought one for $20. He was so proud. I just stared at him. He actually had it in hand too. But not Blaux brand.
  • Thanks to guys like you and Technology Connections, many people like me, who are poor and need an AC unit to dehumidify AND cool their rooms, aren't being suckered into paying 90 dollars for something that will not help in the slightest (and will actually make one of those problems worse). Plus, if you look around, you can find people selling real AC units for 20-30 more bucks (I got a brand new, still in the box with the packing straps for 115 bucks from a guy whose brother buys overstock year around). I also gotta say, your style of dealing with shady businesses and such is giving me very "Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet." vibes. I love it.

I applied to work at DFO once. They made me review a cheap UV light for free to determine if I was fit for the role. Dodged a bullet there.
  • I appreciate you reminding everyone not to give the call center people a hard time. These shady people get to hide behind some underpaid employees that have to put up with way too much

I ordered from them, they said 6-8 weeks and it came in 6 weeks. Solid packaging and exactly what I expected it to be because I know the difference between and actual air conditioner and a swamp cooler. A lot of people don’t. I think they are half shady and prey on people that aren’t as savvy. Their website was full of things that could be added to my cart when checking out, which obviously I ignored, and they sort of market it or make it seem like an actual air conditioning unit. I checked some reviews and wasn’t scared away by what I saw, so I bought one. I have no regrets, it’s exactly what I wanted and sits on my desk blowing me with cool air. But if I had to do it again I would go through amazon. I personally had an ok experience, but I suspect I was a lucky one.
