This was a nightmare to record and edit but I am happy with how it turned out. What do you want so see next? : )

I’ll be honest, I would much rather prefer a Pokémon that has a god awful shiny color that’s actually distinctive than the original than have one that looks virtually the same. Garchomp and Gengar are the most notable with these problems
  • @sweetbrown89
Shinies that aren’t blatantly different from their originals feel unnecessarily hostile

Can’t believe this series is over 20 years old and we still have shinies that are hard to differentiate….
  • Gengar and Garchomp move aside, Maushold is the new king of being impossible to tell if its shiny or not
  • They brought back a lot of Pokémon that’s hard to tell the difference between the normal and shiny. I wish they kept the mechanic from arceus where they sparkle and make a noise, not only to help veterans but to help the kids who aren’t sure what to look for.
  • y’know for a open world game with no shiny indicator the shinies are really hard to notice. (Like Tauros or frigibax)

  • A few of these Pokémon would be impossible to tell if they are shiny when you see them in the wild. They should have a sparkle overworld like they did in legends Arceus
  • My biggest fear is walking past a shiny and not noticing it
  • You could really see a difference for those shines like gengar and garchomp
  • @wawacat6568
Keep in mind that since Gen. 6, Game freak (or at least someone there) is handpicking the colors. They voluntarily decided to make them as impossible to differentiate from normal pokemon in the wild
  • @BoshiYoshi
They REALLY need to bring the overworld shiny sparkle and sound queue back. Some of these Pokemon are so tiny now that it's impossible to tell if they're shiny or not. I don't know how anyone could spot a shiny Tandemous or Maushold.
  • @BNotInc
I REALLY hope they add the shiny sound in the overworld. A lot of the shinies barely change, and every night I’ve been so paranoid about potentially missing a shiny. Speaking of that, I found a shiny Revaroom, but when I got near it, it Despawned! Why do shiny Pokemon despawn?! 😭😭😭
  • @codename618
A couple things I noticed: 1) They made Garchomp and Gengar's shinies black now. It's still not the most noticeable since the original colors were still dark, but it's something at least. 2) Magneton was swapped in the video :)
  • I love how some of the steel types have reflectiveness, foretress looks the best that way. I'm in love with the shiny revamps too(Gengar and garchomp)
  • @Yirmatang
Thank you for actually including ALL of the Pokémon! So many people are focusing on the brand new mons, but this is a very helpful resource
  • @AmzorcenEX
im still so glad they gave pikachu its original cry in these games. so nice to hear it again
  • @sunjour
This video brought forth the unfortunate reality that the Tauros that I thought looked a little muted was, in fact, not because of the rain and was, in fact, a Shiny. 😭
  • Gholdengo’s only difference is that the little indents are silver and not bronze. The mouse mon’s original apparently is just a little bluer and the shiny takes that away.
