The trailer for the second DLC came out 10 minutes after I recorded the line at 0:44. You're all welcome.

The fact that dragon items suck is, in fact, a metaphor representing the defeat of the Everlasting Dragons during the Age of Ancients. People just can't seem to understand Miyazaki's greatness...

Oh dammit ahahah ok, at 0:52 someone is summoned, and his name is "Scrotocottero", which in Italian roughly translates to "Helicopter of Ballsack". Brilliant.

What about the genius behind infusing items? DkS2 allowed you to infuse shields to give them increased resistance to a certain element, and though it didn't really matter it would do split damage. This was at the cost of all other elemental resistances getting cut. But that's the point, infusion is "specialization". In DkS3, shield infusions are pointless and obsolete. No reason whatsoever to waste stones on them, much less upgrade them. What about the genius behind spell casting, spell damage, casting tools, and casting speed in general? In DkS 2: -you could easily identify which catalysts dealt the most damage by simply comparing damage and scaling; -you had "casting height" which was an interesting trait to sorcery catalysts, since some allowed you to bypass potential obstacles at times, which was kinda hidden; -the casting speed stat was tied to your attunement, which meant you had to upgrade it to get more spell uses AND a better cast time; -catalysts had innate casting speeds, which meant you could further customize your builds by being able to more freely choose your equipment and decide to prioritize either cast speed or raw damage to your liking; -catalysts could be INFUSED! You could literally make them specialize in a certain type of element to cater to your prefered spell types! This means you could sacrifice dark spells damage for either miracles or sorceries. Miyazaki thought that this system that was near perfect could only be improved by completely disregarding it, and turning it into a complete fucking mess, that is still almost impossible to understand, and then he made spells do shit damage unless you use all damage boosting rings, and then he also made cast speed be tied to dexterity, because cleric builds and mage builds can never do without dexterity am I right fellas? What about the genius behind special gear? DkS2 had tons of gear, mostly headgear, that boosted your stats. Whether that meant boosted intelligence, faith, cast speed, fall damage resist, increased vitality, increased vigor, it was all there. There was even a shield that boosted many of your stats. In DkS3, however, it was decided that the best course of action was to create obsolete gear that has no differences from other equipments, except for their look. Oh, and the cherry on top of the cake, the poise In DkS1 poise was overpowered, plain and simple. DkS2 developed a system of poise that reacted to a stat present in weapons, called "poise damage". If you had a 3 times the value of poise than that of the weapons poise damage that you are being attacked with, then you resist it and do not stagger. Seems underpowered, but that's because you had weapons that granted hyper-armor, and allowed you to negate all incoming poise damage by half. This means that heavy armor and large weapons that grant hyper armor would go hand in hand, and you were rewarded by playing a certain playstyle that makes, sense without penalizing you if you didn't. Miyazaki's approach to poise in Dark Souls 3 was truly revolutionary, instead of taking advantage of the poise system in Dark Souls 2, he instead removed poise as we know it altogether. And then he made it so weapons that grant hyper armor would make a character unstaggereble so long as enough time between an attack had occurred, meaning that a naked man without poise could "poise-through" attacks, by attacking first yet striking last. Which led to many encounters of naked men wielding the Dragonslayer's Greataxe/Yhorm's Great Machete and killing players who used smaller weapons without effort.

If this latest and final DLC will be less than 4h long I will personally find Miyazaki and point him down.

I don't think Miyazaki directed Dark Souls 3. I think they cloned him so whenever we complained they could go "well it's the same guy from Dark Souls 1 guys"
