Your dad looks like a very intimidating, strict Asian parent but he's actually such a kind, funny sweetheart (being Asian myself, I know how Asian parents can be really difficult on their kids, haha)! The original Shake Shack menu was created by a well-regarded NYC chef (Kerry Heffernan, the previous chef of Eleven Madison Park... before Daniel Humm) and an experienced restauranteur (Danny Meyer)... so your dad's rating is very consistent with what they were trying to do (comfort/fast food staples with some of that high end quality and flavor).
