yes vox's writing and voiceovers are generic and boring as fuck, but they need some credit for the fucking INSANE visuals they do, it clearly has a whole team working on it, and it Is so silky smooth and satisfying

fun facts: I do not have a team, i write all my own videos, i upload every 2 days and most of my videos aren't video essays. i do understand if you dont like them though, im too goofy for most lol, very enjoyable video mate, thanks for including me

Just because Vox is corporate doesn't mean they are bad. Although they get it wrong sometimes, I really like many of their videos.

Easily one of the best video essayist I've ever seen is Jacob Geller, some of his older stuff comes off as slightly pretentious but just watch his video "fear of the depths", one of the best things I've ever seen, absolute masterpiece

I was about to get mad for Jacob Geller not being in the tier list, but then I realized this video is 3 years old and his channel is just 3 year old as well.
