    By the way, as another Historical appointment, "Peixinhos da horta" is what gave rise to Tempura. Tempura is a derived name from tempero, that means seasoning. It was introduced in Japan probably in the Portuguese founded city of Nagasaki.

    Great video Joey. Always learning something about the food in Madeira and I have just returned from a month in Machico and Funchal. I've passed Theo's many times but never eaten there.     Great video Joe. Omg that octopus dish looked amazing!! The rice was giving risotto vibes and that octopus looked perfectly cooked. Iโ€™m always kinda hesitant about ordering octopus because if itโ€™s cooked wrong itโ€™s so disappointing.
