  • Go to drinklmnt.com/WhatIveLearned to get a free sampler pack with any purchase! How many of you guys have been fasting? I didn't include too much of my personal experience this time around, but during my 5 day fast I either had lower libido or I was too exhausted from walking constantly to think about sex, but after refeeding my libido was definitely higher than normal

Your intermittent and prolonged fasting videos from 6 years ago changed my life. Rad to see you’re still at it here. Well done.

I remember a Canadian doctor assisting an aboriginal community in BC suffering from obesity having them prescribed a low-carb diet over a period of time to control their insulin levels. Turns out he was able to restore proper hormone and blood levels with a significant weight loss, and patients with mild diabetes were cured improving their lifestyle.
  • I started doing intermittent fasting (IF) two years ago, weighted 212 lbs. In six months acheived my goal of 160 lbs. My testosterone (T) levels before IF were always bothering me, usually between 230-280 ng/dl. That is borderline low T for men my age (38). After two years of doing IF daily, plus 3 day fasts every 3 months, I'm now at 637 ng/dl, well into the normal range of T levels, also boasting many of the health benefits it also provides to my hormones and body in general. This works!❤ July 2024: and to add that after 9 years trying to conceive a child (have zero sperm count for years), finally glad to say that I could get my soldiers back online and got my wife pregnant!!!
  • "Let food be thy medicine" Not only WHAT you eat but How Much, and WHEN. Very important factors. There is something euphoric about fasting.

I love your videos because they help people put their health back into their own hands. there's so much to learn, but it's very possible to become more and more aware of how different things impact your body, and to make small changes over time to get you closer to your specific goals. I'm a firm believer that you don't need to be a doctor, nor should you rely solely on doctors, to understand and improve your health.

Definitely feel amazing after fasting and then breaking it with a protein focused meal, as well as strength training 💪🔥 At age 36 I'm at my fittest ever 😊
  • Fasting 16/8 seven days a week is what works for me, a life-changer in fact. Will move to 20/4 when I feel ready. My focus is on the sustainable long run, no extreme changes overnight.

Awesome video, great editing! This kind of information and knowledge is whats making a difference in people's lives.
  • @ivanrios2774
Very well presented and put together... I'm loving your videos and glad they're backed by evidence and not anecdote or opinions.
  • @VlogCreations
Great video 🙏 Can you do a video on micro plastics effect on testosterone and the endocrine system?
  • @rexster76
Ramadan is here, glad this is getting recommended.

Yeah fasting works really well, I do intermittent fasting 1 or 2 times a week. Even when I break my fast, the portion of my meal is the same as if I wasn't fasting. Has helped me put on a lot of lean mass and am shredded. I have also been doing the intermittent fasting now for over a year.

Another great video as usual! Just wanted to add that whoever created the animations and visual depictions of various components (iconography: circles, squares, triangles) totally nailed it! Great job, and goes a long way in adding "stickiness" to information.
  • @LetsBeFair
I always noted that fasting was the biggest factor in allowing me to bulk up, not force-feeding myself, but depriving myself and then watching my appetite become insatiable in the refeeding stage. Best way to put on weight if skinny is to counterintuitively start by fasting.
  • This feels like such a cheat code, thanks for providing us with this informative video man.
  • @mandandi
Agree with the positive findings. I experience them every time I fast. My white blood cell count increased after a 4 day water fast, from being so very low to being in the normal range.
  • @emersiv5631
I just started fasting about 3 months ago and lost 40 pounds already. I went from 210 to 175 and felt 10x better. I was obese even though I didn't look obese. I felt tired and terrible all the time but now I'm moving constantly with way more energy
  • @troyjohnson462
I have recently statrted intermittent fasting. A 3 day series of 18:6. It has made a huge impact on "resetting" my gut/body. I am going to continue this every 4-6 weeks and see how things go!😀
  • @leetmaster1
I totally enjoyed this info into fasting. And has confirmed some of my thoughts about fasting
