Vegemite and peanut butter together is hilarious- someone well and truly pulled your leg!
  • @stephen6556
I dont believe vegemite and peanut butter is actually an Aussie thing. Peanut Butter and honey is what I had for school lunch back in the 80's or vegemite and cheese.
  • South Australian here. I've not eaten peanut butter and Vegemite on toast. Not once, ever!
  • If you are on your way down to Adelaide, I suggest that you don't go down the Stuart Highway from Port Augusta. Instead, just South of Port Augusta turn left through Horrock's Pass to Wilmington and through the Clare Valley. We drove many times from Darwin to Adelaide, and the transition from Outback at the bottom of Horrocks pass to farming country at the top was always stunning. This route will also take you through the Clare Valley, which is one of the premier wine regions of Australia and extremely pretty. We have been following you for a couple of years now, and as parents of children of your age, we have one important message for you - EAT MOORE VEGETABLES!

Peanut butter with jam or honey, Yes. Vegemite with cheese or potato chips on bread, Yes Vegemite with peanut butter, totally sucked in guys. Someone is taking the piss out of you.
  • Just for the record, yes we are invested in the air compressor purchase!
  • I was getting worried about you two. I just checked last night to see how long since you’d posted last. Good to see you’re still cruisin along. PS: If you do happen to ever get into any trouble I hope you know there’s a whole country willing to jump in and give you a hand, just put the word out.
  • Next to no-one in Oz eats peanut butter and vegemite on toast. Where on earth did that come from?
  • If you are in Pt Augusta, about 45min drive south is Whyalla where you can swim with the Giant Cuttlefish, see the "big" ship (on land) and they do Steelworks tours. Vids on youtube re Whyalla Cuttlefish and HMAS Whyalla. Also, the Marina has dolphins that you can interact with as they follow the boats in. Also, also the Circular jetty.
  • Thankyou for going to Alice Springs and speaking so kindly and truthfully about it we love Alice and just returned from there love your positive, fun and friendly videos Cheers

Cheveyo, thanks for unlocking a forgotten memory regarding the smell of Australia. Growing up in San Diego (where eucalyptus trees were imported with the thought of using them for railroad ties only to discover that’s not effective … and that the trees will do a hostile takeover of the landscape), when I first visited Sydney in 2000, I immediately felt at home due to climate and smell. To me at that time, Sydney was like San Diego and San Francisco merged into one. Really miss it and am so happy to be back with you guys!

Correct, triangular shaped sandwiches and bread do taste better. Also great video! Really captures the feel of driving out there, I have to do this one day.
  • Hello, have been following 👋🏽 ♥️. As an Aussie, growing up in the Qld outback, travelled in the NT, lived & worked in Alice Springs, travelled the Stuart Hwy, also lived in country Australia & in cities, I long for the outback always. Watching your vids has made me nostalgic to be back out there. It’s a shame that Alice Springs has now got such a reputation as I believe it’s a jewel in the centre, important for all to know it’s qualities. The East & West Macdonnell ranges are amazing & worth the trips to see the gorges. It’s the real spirit of Australia, & very happy you are experiencing the spirit. Cheers, Charmaine xx

It was quite a wonderful surprise running into you guys outside Kirby's in Katherine. Nice to hear your balanced perspectives on issues. Keep spreading the joy!
  • Vegemite and avocado…. Now there’s a combination!!! Perfect combo!
  • @elblanco5
I almost think you guys should do two or three supercut episodes: 1) All the big things with Tia for scale. 2a) The fuel efficiency story. 2b) The air compressor saga.
  • @robjan02

Have you guys tried the "Lemon Butter Spread" (also known as "Lemon Curd") you can buy it in all supermarkets including IGA in a jar. Really nice on fresh white bread or on toast. More Tangy like Marmalade if your not a sweet tooth for spreads like Raspberry/Strawberry jam etc.
