I love the idea that Shephard, upon realizing just how bad his situation is, decides to just get comfy and deal with it the only way he can; by playing some tunes on his iPod.

After my deployment, I never felt so alone in my life. I imagine Adrian, realizing he's alone, accepts his fate and disassociates.

For some reason when I first beat OpFor as a kid the ending screen never came on and I was stuck on the transport for like 5 minutes before closing the game. A few days later I came back to the game and reloaded a save and got the actual ending, but part of me was a bit sad the glitch I got wasn't the ending. Edit, apparently it isn't a glitch, if you leave the game running it never returns to the menu until you pause it and manually exit. My memory of it was just hazy

When the next Half-Life comes out it would be amazing if either they choose Shepard to replace Alyx if freeman saves her or if freeman teams up with Shepard since they have a common enemy. it would be awsome to have him as a companion like alyx but neither of them talk.

Shephard was so young. He was only 22 during Opposing Force. And he got the most depressing ending out of all characters
