    for your smoke particles, you usually wanna have variation between sizes, that'd probably make it look much better

    A tip for later on, when you switch an animation from one frame to another, this would cause a snap which is commonly used in eastern animations the reason it looks so smooth is the over exaggerated animations of the aftermath. An example of this is the “saitama” figuring slowly bending down forward after dodging
  • Damn. Watching you struggle and keep pushing and learning made me think that maybe that's my way to make a breakthrough. Gotta try something similar, great vid!

    Im an FX artist and two of the things ive struggled the most with has been stylised clouds and lightning, I found your channel today and you have already given me a bunch of ideas and new avenues to get these elements to a much better look and feel. Big thank you for showing off your process and how you tried different things to get the result it makes it so much easier to think about how to plan these kinds of things out. Loving this series of videos and very much looking forward to seeing more :)

  • You could just make genos from the 1st frame fly in faster cyz if you look at it he looks slow moving
