  • I came to Thailand for employment (16 years). I am now retired in a town in rural Thailand. (4 years) As an American I have become less materialistic, learned to be more patient, and less judgmental. Being around a vibe of “politeness” and “sabai sabai” is definitely better for my mental health than the rat race and “tribalism” back in the USA. I like your videos btw
  • I lived in Bangkok for 4 years, 3 of them working and the other year just enjoying life. Your video makes me nostalgic for the life I had there. It's been 11 years since I left, but I will always have fond memories of the people, the food, the live music, and of just how much I loved my life there. I lived in SUkhumvit for a18 months, and the rest of the time in Sathorn, Soi Suan Plu. Both fabulous experiences. I found it so easy to make friends with locals, and with the expats I worked with. I was on a fairly tight budget but managed to do everything I wanted to do, and to explore many parts of Thailand and neighbouring countries. Loved the cheap markets that you find everywhere, any day of the week. Truly wonderful and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity. I've been back a few times but it was never the same as living there. Things changed, friends moved on, etc. Good on you for making the move! I hope you stay on for a while longer :)

Hello 👋🏽 Antoinette, I agree when I was stationed in Okinawa and my boyfriend/fiancée taught me some basic phrases in Japanese that I used when ordering food . The natives were welcomingly nice but they never tried to hold lengthy conversations because they knew I didn't know more of their language

Find your content very insightful and helpful. You articulate it all really well and very easy to follow. I am in the states caring for senior dog and preparing to eventually get there. The mental nervousness I feel in the states is obviously internalized by the energy field, here. I sense the calm there thousands of miles away. Thank you for sharing all you do🙏🏻
  • @30AndAWakeUp

Community definitely makes living abroad easier. Hey Friend 👋🏾
  • I only visited Thailand for holidays so far, but I can definitely agree with everything you said about the language. Although I can't say more than 'hello, thank you, no and yes', the locals were always so happy that I made the effort. I hope you're going to continue to have amazing experiences in Thailand! <3
  • This is Truly Gonna b so Insightful AY🎯🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Monday😀….

  • @stargazerth2880
Miss Yvonne, your fit for brunch is definitely FIRE. Way hotter than Thailand's midday weather. Loved your video.
  • @terebellum1981
As Thai, I sometimes don’t like “mai phen rai” approach, it is just delaying an inevitable event.
  • Inspiration all around I am so happy for your health and your ability to show through example the power of the Most High and how he can move in your life if one chooses to let him. Stay Blessed Sis!
