  • Sorry about the random audio peaking. I did everything I could to fix it, but nothing worked. Hope you still enjoyed the video! (CLICK READ MORE ONLY AFTER WATCHING) This video was originally supposed to be me solving the plotholes in Alterna. But then I realized there was no answer, so I decided to make it a commentary on how so many channels will present circumstantial evidence as facts. My “theory” that I presented in the video DID have plotholes and mistakes. It was supposed to. This will probably be the last full-on theory I’ll do for awhile, but I still have some cool Splatoon content in the works!
  • im so glad people are finally talking about the plotholes! i loved playing through splatoons story mode but these things have always bugged me
  • This made me come up with a theory actually but it depends on a big ''maybe'' Maybe O.R.C.A. made the levels for the Fuzzy Octarians to gather data on them and their behaviors ? The weapons are just normal weapons so Grizz could've gotten them from anywhere for the Fuzzy Octarians to use, probably the same with the canned specials. I do actually like the idea of Grizz stealing the Power Eggs and hiding them in Alterna but I think it's more likely they're used for powering the rocket and there was just... A LOT of extra eggs just kind of laying around. The one thing I have no idea on is the Kettles because O.R.C.A. wouldn't have known that's how Octarians transport from one place to another. They're not transferable pocket dimensions, they're like... a way of transport. Since the Octarians live in underground domes they go to each dome via the kettles so really I have no idea why O.R.C.A. uses those for the Octarians unless humans also used kettles as transportation ??? somehow ???

I love Return of the Mammalians. I think it was incredible and I loved the story a lot. I don’t even know how the dlc will go further
  • @CoolMicrowave
nintendo moment anyway i think mr grizz made the kettles to slow anyone who tries to stop him down
  • I’ve never played story mode on any Splatoon game so I gotta say I don’t think I’ve ever been more confused in my life
  • @justanocto
Well the dlc will probably sum it up. Probably
  • @inklingagent3
Don't worry the dlc it's coming, well, get more into it
  • I think kettles aren't a pocket dimension they work like the pressure machines that make you respawn in the multiplayer modes they just transport you to diferent places. I have seen a theory in youtube by ardnin he gives a clever answer to this plot hole with good arguments I don't agree with him 100% but it's really good.
  • To answer the whole where the levels came from thing was because of the octarians stealing zapfish!
  • @Spygirl812
Hey look you are completely right but Splattoon 3 is my only game in the series so I got nothing better.

Not to mention all the other plot holes, such as; -Why the hell did Mr. Grizz need cap'n cuttlefish's brains???? for what fucking reason??? dudebro HAD electric power for the rocket, so what could an old man's brain possibly do?? -...why's the fuzzy ooze even a threat in the first place? With sanitization it's pretty understandable, but as far as we've seen, Octolings can survive being turned into "mammalian" and still retain their livelihood. They don't die. Technically speaking, in the bad ending where Grizz wins, no one actually dies. -speaking of the Octolings, what the hell happened to them post-game? Did we straight up murder Octolings??? Also, why were they even fighting us in the first place? Does the fuzzy ooze have brainwashing properties? It wasn't mentioned anywhere that it did. -I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that playing as an Octoling in this particular hero mode is awkward as all hell. This could just be a translation mistake, but damn, hearing Marie's "fuck the octos!" rant and the whole octoling agent 3 vs. other octolings really doesn't make much sense. -Finally... where the hell was DJ Octavio??? Yeah, he appeared at the end, but where was he during the entire game? Majority of Alterna's just water, and all of the land left we've explored, so how the hell did he get under our radar? Can his machine also just turn into a submarine or something? Idk, I think it's fishy that we didn't see a huge ass mech during our travels on the only land available.
