Game Theory: There's No Place Like HOME (Welcome Home)

My favorite Mr. Rogers fact is that he used to narrate himself feeding the fish each episode because a young blind girl sent him a letter as she was worried the fish were hungry. I’m sure there’s others, but that’s what comes to my mind when I hear Mr. Rogers.

Fun fact: In the characters' bio, they all referred in past tense except Wally and Home, which are referred in present tense.

Mat! In case you haven't heard, there's been a huge update to the website with so much cool lore and hidden stuff, It's taken me all day to find it all and I still think I'm missing some things.

I’ve been seeing Wally everywhere so I finally decided to go to the website and look around at some of the lore around it and now I’m obsessed lol

Massive props to the theorist team regarding that we be respectful to Clown’s personal life.

Fun fact: On the website, Wally is never looking away from the viewer. All of the other characters are looking in other directions except for Wally

I just realised welcome home kind of reminds me of Daniel the tiger in his theme song Who literally welcomes his neighbour as the villains also has a mix of humans and animals like characters

I really think Wally is less of a villain and more of a victim, almost like home is forcing him to send letters out. I think he’s trying to help the viewers to solve the mystery and save his neighbors. (“I can’t reach them” on the mailbox page and “can you see me? Then stay quiet.”)

I love the conversation where Walley says frowning isn't easy for him like it is for Frank. Completely recontextualizes his creepy smiling pictures.

I know this video is a few months old but I wanted to add a comment about the line “As Above, So Below”. It isn’t only an occult phrase, but a phrase used in many other hermetic traditions, especially Kabbalah. The usage in most hermetic traditions is the idea that all living creatures contain a piece of god, because all creatures have a soul. I find it very interesting that a puppet that seemingly alive (maybe having a soul) is connected to Home. Also, the end goal of Kabbalah is to make humanity return to god, to cause all souls to recombine. I don’t personally know all of the ways that information might be useful or relevant, but I find it very interesting

Why isn't anyone talking about the fact that wally admits to not having memories with his friends? It feels like a very important part of the lore.
