Here because of the Villanova New York Knicks of 2023.

I think this Villanova team was an all time team for the modern era of college basketball. So talented across the board. Michigan was a good team and once Villanova imposed their will, it was over!!

When Villanova is on, and that has been most of the time this year, they make basketball look like art. Smooth and graceful.

Divincenzo was in the zone, which is the key to Villanova’s easy victory. There is not much one can do about it when a player shoots like that.
  • Back in 2021, Eric Pascall, Donte Divencenzo, Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges there was no way Michigan was winning this

6:44 is probably one of the most athletic plays I’ve ever seen. He got up so high for a guard players and didn’t bend back from the force wow
  • @JasonWW.
I’d argue this team was top 5 all time. They played so well together.
  • @jeffro4095
That dude is like having terminator comin off the bench for Villanova
  • @domp2609
Villanova has become one of the most prominent basketball colleges over the last decade... They’re always there at the end of the season

    This Donte Divincenzo killed us.....
  • 1st, the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, Villanova. So are the 76ers gonna go on a run or something?!?! The city of Philadelphia is on fire! Grats to Villanova.

the title should be “ Divincenzo vs Michigan”

Took 14 minutes for Nova to get the lead. Complete domination after that and they slaughtered the whole tournament. Just proves coaching, discipline, defense, and teamwork will forever beat talent alone. Congrats to Michigan on a great season but this wasn't even close down the stretch. Jay just solidified himself and the program as top 2-3 in the nation. Go Nova, Vs up.
  • That block at 6:40 is one of the best blocks ive ever seen! That got me hyped! Two handed block too hand straight up that was textbook. Divencenzo balled out all game long. Nova deserved it and Michigan showed that they were outmatched. THis was the first team Michigan played above a 5 seed all tourney long.

Sounds crazy to say, but Jay Wright and Villanova NEEDED this second national title to validate their ridiculous run of success over the past 5 years - a 165-21 record is incredible, but would not receive the recognition it deserves unless the postseason success was there to go along with it. Now that it is, they can take their deserved place in history.
  • As a Villanova grad, one son that went, and daughter there now, I couldn’t be more proud. Thanks to all for a great season.

I was rooting for Kansas in the Final Four, but wow, Villanova was just in another gear in this tournament. Once they got going, there was no stopping them. A fun team to watch, and once they get rolling, it is like an avalanche. Congrats to them and their fans, and they seem like a team that works so hard to achieve what they are aiming for, which is truly a reflection of their coach.
