    Those 3 travelogue-style shorts he did (for the UK Tourist Board?) in the early 80s are essential viewing, even for non-fans of the Botany 500-sporting, Bacardi-flogging, lollipop-sucking,ubiquitous chrome-domed bling-wearing (and Capricorn One-stealing) star of screens small & Silver. His No. 1 hit may have made Lee Marvin sound like Aled Jones, but the marketing people missed a trick in not putting out a Dirty Dozen covers album;, as Trini Lopez was already on board- imagine Charles Bronson doing the Sound of Silence- but I digress; I have yet to hear anything but good memories of Mr. Savalas and I hope it stays so!
