Carol Burnett and Kristen Wiig dish on their new Apple TV+ miniseries "Palm Royale," where Kristen plays an ambitious woman desperately trying to get in to an exclusive Palm Beach country club in 1969. Kristen admits she cried when meeting Carol for the first time at the table read, and Carol reveals she said yes to the show based purely on the cast. Carol and Kristen also reflect on starting their careers in New York City, sneaking into Broadway shows, and answer questions from the audience!

I was blessed to have met Carol when I was a Teenager. I sat in the audience of her show several times. She would walk around amongst the audience and talk to us. Such a genuinely nice person.

Carol has so many interesting experiences and memorable performances to talk of, it's always a joy to see her still active! I still have visions of her walking on stage with curtain rod through her shoulders and making us laugh with "I saw it in the window and just had to have it!" That was a costume of a lifetime!.
