Bringing back OG is the most important thing the Knicks got to do.

Knicks Fan here. Run it back with some upgrade then let’s revisit at the trade deadline
  • @goldenboydylan
I’m not trading a 2 time all nba player for Mikal Bridges……
  • i think you're underestimating randles fit with the current squad, he can be a real secondary creator where hes attacking hard closeouts, mismatches, and 4 on 3 opportunities.i think we saw in january that he was accepting his new role before he got hurt

As a lifetime Knicks fan, I’ve just been happy they’re making The playoffs again. Hopefully they can stay healthy honestly.

So trade an ALL STAR ALL NBA player AND first round picks for a number 2 or 3 option in Bridges? What you smoking boy?
  • @verbone
I don't see any logic in trading Randle for Bridges. They'd lose points and rebounds and size, which could become even a bigger issue for NYK if they can't resign Hartenstein. Yeah, they'd gain some defense, youth, and speed, but not sure that makes sense.

The Knicks have been their own biggest future problem in the playoffs. Everyone played so damn good that now they all worth too much.

As a diehard Knick fan, I don't think you're properly evaluating Randle. The guy has gotten more efficient every year since 2021 and fits the culture of big, good rebounding players who can play good post defense when called upon. Bridges is great and if we could give up maybe Deuce, Mitch and a couple firsts then I see it but I don't see giving up a three time all star for a player who is good but not on that level. Also Randle as a guy who pulls gravity from Brunson is a great fit alongside OG who I pray re-signs
  • OGs agent is the gm’s son and he specifically stated he’d take a pay cut if he was traded to the Knicks… …
  • @BigTeletubby
Trading Randle for Bridges would be a disaster. I genuinely don’t understand the Bridges appeal. The Nets value him like a superstar and want a superstar package, when in reality he’s a glorified role player. Even his defense has taken a step back

If I'm a Knicks fan then I'm waiting for a player that is a clear upgrade from Randle at his position so basically Giannis or KD. Makes no sense to me to overpay for Mikal.
  • Tbh swapping Randle + stuff for bridges and resigning Anunoby and hartenstein and this team is a legit championship contender. Coming from a Celtics fan that Knicks team would be scary af…
  • @Liftupfashion
Why do people disrespect Randle so much?? He has a really rare skill set. Post moves with a step back, could do pick and roll as the screener and or ball handler. If he figures out how to create for others, he will pretty much be an mvp candidate
  • @noeyboey3726
every ball talker i've seen keeps acting like the knicks need all this stuff they already have. "who's a good backcourt fit with jalen brunson" when we already have donte divincenzo, a 16 ppg elite sharpshooter who plays great defense and can spot up or create off the dribble whenever needed. we don't need any more guards
  • @fabo0913
My guy just said Bridges is as good as Randle... Come on man what are we doing here...
  • @MrJohnblz
Every Mikal for Randle trade I've seen starts with a ridiculous false claim that Bridges is even close to the player Randle is. Randle is a three time all star, two time all-nba guy, who averages more points, rebounds, and assists then Bridges. But ultimately what makes Randle's value unmeasurable is he can't be guarded one on one, and double teaming Randle unlocks the Knicks being one of the more efficient offenses in the league like they were in January.
  • @jacobartis9853
As a knicks fan, I think we should run it back because I think if this team was fully healthy, we beat boston.
  • @nycnow811
They can literally keep the same team and pick up a somewhat good small forward and be good
  • Of course the "give us Mikal Bridges for our leftover scraps" trade proposals... because the Nets aren't allowed to have players... smh....
