Don't Hug Me I'm Scared has come a long way since its beginning more than a decade ago. Landing a TV series with Channel 4 is a crowning achievement, but fans are curious about what happens next, especially with the cliffhanger in the finale. Is a Season 2 of Don't Hug Me I'm Scared really the best route to go?

Season 2 or nah?

In my opinion , DHMIS deserves a season 2 to just tie things up . Nothing big just a nice ending

You know, that actually makes sense. Although the ending does feel like a cliffhanger, it could also just be the show's way of telling you, "Oh, you thought I was just going to hand you the answers, didn't you?" I think it definitely has a conclusive feel to it, but it still leaves a door open if Becky, Joe and Baker decide to continue the story.

If anything season 2 would be amazing and Becky and Joe can take a hard earned break if they are planning to do more after the end of this season Either way, it's incredible that we even got a whole 6 episodes that ran 20 or so minutes each!

Ok but I NEED a season 2! They can’t just make my brain hurt and leave me at a loss for words with that ending and then not give me anything else! I know DHMIS isn’t the kind of show to do this but, I NEED ANSWERS

I feel like if we even get a season two for DHMIS, It won't be for a long time. I mean, the gap between DHMIS 6 and the Channel 4 series was six years. Still, if we do get a DHMIS musical, I'd be super excited for it!

All I want is for wakey wakey or whatever it's supposed to be called to come out. Whether it's canon or not or if the series is going in a different direction doesn't matter, many of us want to see the episode as a whole because we love the structure and humor of the series, and wakey wakey has all of that still, besides horror

To be honest I actually want a second season.

DHMIS needs a season 2, not to tie things up, but because shows like these need to exist, the animation, the writing, the songs, the humor, the sets it’s perfect

I found the ending of season 1 hilarious as it's just Becky and Joe giving a huge middle finger to people like MatPat

The main reason I want a season 2 is simply because I want a happy ending for the trio, they deserve it.

It’s too good for them to not expand upon it even further. With the end of the show it feels like they’re just getting started, but simultaneously it feels like that would be the perfect way to end the series as a whole. We’ll see, patience is key here.

I’m going to be honest…I don’t think it’s over for DHMIS. With a cliffhanger like that, at the very least there should be one final season to give closure to the never ending cycle of insanity and constant feeling of imprisonment. (I know I’m kinda late for this, but I can’t shake off the feeling that this is not the end of the road.)

No one talks about the stairs that go higher than Lesley's room I really want to know what people think about it
