Atlas Netflix Movie Review

Jennifer Lopez is an ok actress. But music artist? Bruh c'mon. She doesn't even really sing herself on her albums. Its Ashanti or three other women that sing for her. But anyway, I didn't even like her in the trailer lol.

Maybe I was tired from work but I fell asleep on this 3 times.

Watched it; it’s okay. Not something you would want to leave your house to watch in a cinema but for a home movie; it’s okay

It's Netflix...expectations are low.

I'm a big sci-fi geek but the premise of this was just too laughable for two reasons. These are nitpicks but I just couldn't get past them. First, I just couldn't' buy JLO as a highly educated AI specialist. They tried to show her being oh so brainy but with her I couldn't suspend disbelief. Jenny from the Block doesn't have the acting chops to pull that off. Second, the mission takes place in the Andromeda Galaxy. Huh? For those that don't know that is over 2.5 million light-years away from here in the Milky Way Galaxy! When we see the Andromeda Galaxy its as it looked 2.5 million years ago. Yet they act as though this is like running down to the 7-11 for slurpees. Meanwhile the world these characters live in doesn't look more than maybe a hundred years beyond now. That part well and truly broke my suspension of disbelief. One bright creative spot though was the mech suit that was pretty cool and funny.

Thanks for the review Brandon. I was interested in it because JLo is a decent actress and most films she’s in are watchable and pretty decent. I’m going to pass on this for now and revisit when I have nothing to watch and have hours to kill. Looking forward to your Bad Boys review when it drops in theaters.

I don't understand the hate this movie is getting, I loved it! Sorry u didn't enjoy but I thought it looked great, thought the story was compelling, J. Lo did her thing and it was fun to watch! Idk what y'all reviewers watched lol

For Netflix it was cool. It’s rewatchable.

Love the story line. Jennifer Lopez was great in this movie.

I will agree lots of Lopez tears. I enjoyed it overall, but I just had to sit back and go with the unbelievable.

When I watched Atlas trailer I told myself, the title should have not he Atlas (JLo's name in the movie). It should be AI SMITH or just SMITH, however I saw that JLo is 1 of the producers, I got it. Atlas was so arrogant and annoying person in the movie. Atlas volunteered herself for the mission as if she could fight but when an attacked happened she was shouting and shouting, complaining. If you are in the movie, you would want to give Atlas a punch in her face. In short, Atlas ruined the movie and SMITH (the AI) is the hero of the movie. I, Robot of Will Smith was a success not naming the movie to Will Smith's character
