The Aztecs are 14-2; 3-0 in Mountain West play and are battle tested. This Saturday they return to the Pit to face a struggling New Mexico team. The Lobos will be desperate for a win and revenge for last years 1st Buzzer Beater by Lamont Butler. Can the Aztecs come out with a victory?     UNM fan here but at the end of the day we all root for the mountain west team still standing at the end go lobos go mountain west i was rooting for SDSU LAST YEAR

    Lobo lifer, 1st time seeing your feed. Watched the game live and the full game replay. Same for Utah State. Despite what opposing fans might say, neither game was decided by refs. What I see is an improving effort on D, a team finally getting healthy, youngsters coming into their own, and next level guard play. Like your all take: Lobos have been inconsistent & do play the Pit like nobody's business. League reps do absolutely need to show better in NCAA tourney. Lobos & others need to get to the dance and go deep. Aztecs raised the bar last year, now you & others need to rise to the challenge to keep it going. BTW Going to NM games is safe, it is one of the best BB venues you'll ever attend.

    I see this game as another Grand Canyon 2.0 game. We have not proven we can go out and win in front of a hostile crowd this year.
