Most Harry Potter fans think they know everything about these iconic books and the beloved movies that came after. But even the biggest die-hards might have missed a thing or two from their favourite movies, and seeing as how many incredible details they were able to squeeze into every frame, we don’t blame them! We’ve gone back and watched them all more than once, and we still keep finding exciting new hidden secrets in Harry Potter. From the first words that Snape ever said to Harry which actually mean so much more than they seem, to a shout out to Professor Mcgonagall’s glory days as a student hidden in the trophy case. There is a hilarious moment with Neville and his Remembrall that has a hidden layer, a secret message in Hermione’s hair during The Deathly Hallows, a visit to Borgin and Burkes that is packed with easter eggs, and a shout out to Daniel Radcliffe’s theatrical career on the wall of a London cafe. What Gilderoy Lockhart has in his office tells us a lot about who he is, Snape sends a subtle message about whose side he is on during his fight with Professor Mcgonagall, and a wizard in The Leaky Cauldron is reading a book that is way more significant than it may seem! And that is nowhere near all of them, check out the video to find out all of the incredible details that are hidden within all of the Harry Potter movies.

  • I’m surprised that today people still make content from the franchise. Harry Potter really never gets old .

There are a lot of details from the books that weren't included in the movies, but I'm still most upset with the fact that Voldemort evaporates in the films. In te books, he died as a human, with a body. It made Voldemort come full circle, showing that even the darkest wizard of all time can't escape the last human experience: death
  • In the scene where Snape deflects McGonagall's spells into the two death eaters behind him, he also takes their wands from them just before going out the window...again, protecting everyone else after he's gone.

You know the franchise was made with such love and care when even the super fans couldn't catch the details

I was taking my two grandchildren to see Monsters, Inc. in 2001, we were in a cineplex of several theaters. We were waiting for the cartoon movie to begin, when a preview of the first Harry Potter movie came on…..Hermione in the bathroom with the ogre, was the scene. We were hooked. We got up, and went into the other theater to see the Sorcerer’s Stone, which was just starting. That event created a life long fascination with everything Harry Potter for my grandchildren and me. We’ve seen every film, I’ve read every book. Wonderful stories.

Minerva attended Hogwarts much earlier than that. She attended Hogwarts in The 1930’s. That probably was a different person. It infuriates me that they really don’t have the common sense to make sure that was true.

I almost cried at the one about George. That's so sad

In the first movie in the beginning Ron tried to do a spel in his rat to make him yellow but that didn’t work. The spel didn’t work because his rat was not a rat

Another funny detail in the movies is when Oliver wood is first teaching Harry about quidditch. When the golden snitch gets loose and flys around you can notice Wool turning around looking for it while Harry can see it all the time! It shows Harrys natural talent as a seeker! Also in the Golbet of Fire when Harry has his interview with Reeta Skeeter under the stairs in a scrub she mentions that he should feel right at home (because he used to sleep in a scrub at the Dursley’s, which he’s never mentioned). She knows that (it’s said in the book) because she could turn into a beetle to eavesdrop to get the best gossip, therefore she’s been at Harry’s house. Fun fact

Harry Potter franchise was made with an incredible attention to details and some things that even the biggest fans didn't catch

Neville didnt forget his jacket, it was on the seat beside him...It shows this in the movie. He actually forgot the password to the Gryffindor tower.

How is the wig your favorite moment....snape deflecting the spells or George looking over his shoulder have to the best 🥺
  • Snape did more than deflect spells from the Carrows in the Great Hall Scene with McGonagall. He also quickly flitted to each Carrow's side, taking their wands, before he flew out of the window; thereby disarming them and protecting those present.

The scarves and ties bit actually made me smile. Childhood well spent.
  • I think Harry Potter never gets old or dated is because there is no technology in the wizarding world
