Tarkin just chillin and destrying planets while wearing slippers
-
Apparently carrie found it quite hard to act hostile since peter Cushing was a sweet old man irl.
-
I don't know a thing about Tarkin, but the fact that Leia backs AWAY from him INTO Vader is pretty terrifying.
-
That´s one hell of a mining disaster.
-
Great, great, villain. A brutal master of empire. Nothing showy or dramatic. Just a cold, sinister, ruthless, man of high intelligence.
-
Bring your daughter to work day in Star Wars is really dark
-
What's amazing is that Tarkin is not a Sith, and yet has the coldheartedness of one.
-
Tarkin single handedly reduced unemployment, crime rates and depression in Alderaan to 0% Give a medal to the man
-
Christopher Lee, declined the role of Tarkin only so that two and a half decades later, he would play Dooku.
-
People talking just talking: Darth Vader: heavy breathing
-
Leia : "I recognised your fowl stench, when I was brought aboard" Anakin: "General Grievous, you are shorter than I expected" Both father and daughter give the same spunky qips to their enemy, in a situation where they're captured 😅
-
Sad that The actors who played Tarkin, Lea and Vader have all passed away now.
-
Peter Cushing's voice gave Carrie Fisher a second hand English accent
-
Tarkin: “You see, Lord Vader, she can be reasonable.” Vader: (Bruh lmao)
-
Leia almost cried for her parents and planet, but then she remembered her cousin was in there too, so she felt just mildly annoyed
-
He's surprisingly cold blooded for how proper he speaks XD
-
Tarkin destroyed a planet while wearing carpet slippers, let that sink in...
-
I wish they showed more of Leia’s reaction to her planet dying. Depression, ptsd, and survivor’s guilt seem like reasonable responses, but she hides it like a pro.
-
You know you've got a well-written villain when Darth freaking Vader is in the room and still gets overshadowed
-
What’s perfect about this scene is Darth Vader doesn’t speak once. The only villain out of the two that are in the room is Tarkin. He just stands there breathing and watching as one of his closest ally (one he’s known since the Clone Wars) destroys a planet just to know where the Rebel base is.
