At 73 metres in length, and with an 80 metre wingspan, the Airbus A380 is the world’s largest ever passenger plane. Travelling at speeds of over 700 mph, this jumbo jet can transport you between countries in utter luxury. But how exactly is life inside an A380?

Global giant, British Airways, runs a fleet of these feats of engineering, setting the standard for Economy comfort in the industry. Passengers will be immediately greeted with a double width staircase towards the front of the plane, one of the first of its type, and of course leading to the A380’s famous upper deck.

Throughout the cabin, LED lights provide the most energy efficient lighting solution. These can be controlled to mimic different scenes, or moods, such as sunset and sunrise, to help prevent fatigue among passengers, helping with the changing time zones.

Plenty of natural light also enters the cabin during daylight hours through the exceptionally large windows, which are larger than most other aircrafts’.

I think airplanes are amazing and getting one this large off the ground to actually fly, boggles my mind...
  • As an aircraft mechanic, I couldn’t imagine doing the heavy checks on this thing! That would be pretty insane

I always got a kick out of watching these beasts take off and land. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined how marvelous the interior was! Great video.
  • Funny how it said "free wifi" with your $40,000 airplane ticket. Excuse me sir, I'm pretty sure that wifi was anything but free.
  • I’ve flown the A380 economy with Qatar, British Airways and Emirates. I must say that Emirates certainly have a comfortable cabin space and their service is impeccable.

Nice plane, like the inside and exterior, the comfort and hospitality of the jet make it more intriguing, nothing beats flying in comfort, which is why I prefer boarding a private jet, but this doesn't seem bad at all.
  • I've flown on the A380 with Qantas and Singapore Airlines. Even in economy class it is spacious and comfortable. Food, entertainment and service on both airlines were excellent. But what I loved on Singapore airlines was after dinner all the meal trays had been collected and we were settling to watch a movie and the cabin crew came through the cabin with boxes of Magnum ice creams and gave one to each passenger as they did so they smiled to everyone and had a very warm attitude this seemed to make everyone relaxed and happy.

Imagine while you're taking a shower, turbulence starts to flex.

It’s still amazing how anything that weighs over 550 tons, can be lifted into the sky so smoothly. I have always been fascinated with Aerodynamics, but now it’s the luxurious availability of comfort and privacy, that adds more value to the experience.

I always love videos I see on this channel because they are always energetic and full of adventure, adventures are always good for the mind but it’s too bad that most times lack of finance makes them virtually impossible.

Me watching something I’ll never see in real life: *interesting*

I flew the A380 a couple of years ago from LAX to Singapore on Singapore Airlines. The experience was amazing. I was fortunate enough to be in business class. The A380 and Singapore’s crew made for an unforgettable experience.
  • Working at the airport, I feel lucky to see British airways fly this plane in nearly every night and being able to get such a close up look at it....JUST ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE 😌

Yes, I flew from New York to Dubai in an Emirates A380 back in 2009. Fabulous experience, even in regular economy! The food we were served rivaled anything I had on the ground, and there were so many great little touches to make the 13-hour flight more bearable.

I take my hat off (so to speak) to ALL airline pilots worldwide. Our lives are literally in their hands every time we fly and I’m always amazed how the pilots are able to take these monster, heavy planes off the ground. Their responsibility is enormous. My deep respect 🙏 and God bless.

Finally, exterior cameras! That took them a while. What about those to check the exterior when something goes wrong? Now there is a thought

Flew on the A380 from Paris to DC on Air France back in 2015. Loved it. Drove 5 hours to fly in/out of DC so that I could have that experience.

I love flying. No matter how many times I've done it, every time I get on a plane, I consider it a treat. I travel "world" because that's all I can afford, but I love the experience of flying.
