Who would've thought that 20 years later there would be no Wayne nor any live concerts at all...

I bought Wisconsin Death Trip without knowing what Static X sounded like because they were thanked in the liner notes of other bands at the time. Man it was great! Instantly fell in love. This video brings me back to '99: sitting in the basement, playing PC games, cranking Push It, probably drinking Mt Dew, skateboard nearby, baggy jnco pants. haha
  • Every song of every show his voice is perfect.  No mess ups at all.  RIP brother.  I didn't really get into this band until recently and I must say, they are much better than I thought that they were years ago when I wouldn't even give them a listening to. Awesome band.

R.i.p Wayne. I found your music late but I'm so glad I did. The Regeneration album I think is some of the best art from Static X.

Shit, Wayne sounded as good live as in recording. Total legend. Rest in peace man.

Still jamming in 2023.... Rip Wayne!!!
  • R.I.P. Wayne Static. Static-X was one of the first bands who sparked my being a fan of rock and metal music. Never forgotten.
  • I was there like 60 ft, away smoking a bowl, saw static x 12 times live, had the pleasure of meeting all of them, like 8 times as well! This was right after ozzFEST 99

I was there. First time I got to see them live. Evil disco 4 life 🤘🏻❤️🤘🏻

One of my favorite frontmen of hard rock/metal. If I was building a band from scratch he'd probably be on my list of possible singers.

Oh man I'm so happy to come across this. I was there - it was my first concert that I got to go to with just friends and Static-X and Slipknot were the two bands I was most looking forward to. Man this brings back memories!

As much as i feel wanna feel like a badass listening to Static X it always kills me to think that Wayne is gone. Thank you for the insane and powerful music you and your band have created and inspiring me to make music in general. We all love you Wayne. And of course Static X too 🤘🤘

El Paso Texas, Club Escape. I was one of the lucky 200 people who got to see Static X and I was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I was in front with Tripp Iesen to my right and Wayne to my left. Kickass!
