Takes someone to see death before his eyes to truly be humbled
  • We need to talk more about death. This man did it superbly. I hope it resonated with his young audience; it did with me.

Before you think about death, you must accept death as a reality in your mind. Then think about making ways to improve on life so that when you're on your death bed you won't regret it.

Beautiful speech. One of his messages is to be a free thinker - the exact opposite message being taught today to our youth.

"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become."
  • “This was the closest I’ve been to facing death, and I hope it’s the closest I’ll come for a few more decades”. If only, Mr. Jobs. If only. We miss you.

Regrets on the death is the worst thing that happens in a humans life. So make sure you are not hurting anybody, make sure you're helping people arround, make sure you are having the best time with your husband/wife, kids, parents, siblings and friends. If you have no regrets on your death bed, you will pass away peacefully or otherwise.

The irony…to be diagnosed with cancer, & have to adjust your mindset to face death, then have the reprieve of having the cancer removed & being given another chance, only to have the cancer return later & have to look death in the face again… Most of us are blissfully unaware of our “checkout” time & squander our opportunities to improve ourselves or mend relationships but those who have had NDE’s or brushes with death recognize what’s really important….and it’s never what we thought it was.
