In this video I go over nearly every setting in dxtory explaining what they do and what you should set them to, or give you knowledge so you can figure out what to set them to.

DXtory is a great program to capture video from a java or directX game. It is MUCH less CPU work over a normal screen style capture.
I strongly suggest using DXtory along with FFsplit. As you can capture a full 1080p game running 3ghz on 4 cores and only hit around 60% CPU usage.

    wirecast costs that much.... but dxtory is much much much cheaper, worth the money
