Just watched the netflix one, eps 1 and i swear it gave me a Nostalgia i felt like i know everything.... this chilhood memory was buried in my memories but was unlocked by that eps 1. Felt like i was rewatching an eps i watched when i was a kid.

Fun fact: katara is not the only southern waterbender. In the comics the rift and North and south we learn many Southern watertribe children are water benders and were told to never bend outside. Because of this, they have an entire kingdom under the ice. Not only that but we lived many southern water tribes exist, far from the shoreline. They moved entire villages further into the ice to be harder to find.
