It turns out this thing is even decent at some 3DS emulation. Can't wait to check that out for the full review.

Man, we’re getting so close to that $100 for PS2 and GC mark that I’ve been waiting for. This device definitely doesn’t seem perfect but at least it’s a small step forward.
  • With the headline I was like YES. Watching the video I was like NOO. Thank you Taki

Looking into portable handhelds for PS2 and I'm liking what I see with a lot of these. Might bite the bullet when I get payed next as the last few months were tight as hell, but these emulators really look impressive and hopefully I can grab something capable of gamecube/ps2 in the coming months

When I dreamed of a PS2 in my hands that I could afford back in 2000 or whatever I never worried about it having Bluetooth and wifi
  • @dharpoon
I can't wait for your full review.

Hi there @TakiUdon, first of all thanks for your video. I have received my unit today and wanted to upgrade to the lastest version of JelOS since it already ships with the release from July 24th. Unfortunately I am unable to connect the Max 3 with the PC. Neither Windows 11 nor Rufus do recognize the systems memory even in recovery mode. Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!

I'm happy your covering this Handheld Taki. This Handheld's Chipset has great Graphical Driver support. Also this Handhelds Chipset completely surpasses the RG552 with Linux support. Also Powkiddy should have added a Touchscreen to this device too.

Not too concerned about ps2/gamecube performance as I generally don't like to play with too many speed hacks etc, so any games that run at full speed without any of this is a bonus. Hoping that this would be a cheaper alternative to the T618 devices for perfect 2x resolution gameplay for DC/N64/PSP, and PSX at 3x with PGXP though, hope to see this tested in the full review video. If possible, can test 1-2 saturn games as well though the emulator still seem to have issue on low-end ARM handheld in general..

Definitely wish listing this, Wifi and BT are just bonuses for me, so if it doesnt have it im not mad about it

These devices are always getting better and better. I want one like this with real HDMI support to play ps2 and gc games, that would be the perfect complement to my modded switch.

Great price for a device that does have 2.2 gig processors in it. Cant wait to see further developement of this. I feel like this is DEFINITELY a Ver.1 of this device, like in a month we'll have a Ver.2 and a binch of comments from people with no self restraint complaining they bought it right away but was the Ver.2 now =P I would have prefered a second USB slot and the screen to extend to the very bottom like the RG405.

Man I love that it looks similar to the RP2+. it’s one of my favorite handheld looks
  • @alihassain4443
I hope this handheld to appear on Amazon. So I can order it :3

Why do they insist on making the screen wider than the typical games you would play? Males the device bigger for no good reason. For 100 bucks I just got a snapdragon phone off the auction site and emulating gc, 3ds, and ps2 no problem. Waiting for anbernic to make their masterpiece, then I'll hop on.

There's a lot of things to like, but no wifi or Bluetooth is a bummer. And with no touch screen support, I can see it being difficult to navigate in places. I really like the form factor though. Its nice to finally see some PS2 games running on devices this compact.

What’s the price on getting this into the UK? Been after a cheaper PS2/GameCube machine around this pre sale price but I’m guessing shipping won’t make it viable.
