"Cold Sweat" by para & More

fnm04 is the type of guy to showcase a level

This level is special to me, it feels like this is one of the last levels that the community was hyped for the verification that isn’t top 1. It could be me but it feels like “making levels for the list” started soon after this Edit: not saying every level that came out after this is bad y'all

Cold sweat was honestly the turning point for 2.1 effect levels, pathing the way for levels like Abel and Nhelv to go crazy with effects. It also changed how effects worked in non effect oriented levels like white space, definitely a great level that changed gd’s history.

i just beat this level last week after 1 month of practice. i gotta say, this was the BEST extreme demon ive ever played. its visuals and rhythm, memorization and best of all, song, make it incredible. thank you robtop for making this game.

This is one of the best levels of all time, and, despite being made over 3 years ago, hasn't shown its age at all in its gameplay or decoration. The atmosphere is perfectly coherent with the song, and every time I have watched this level, I have gotten chills. This is a 10/10 level for me

This level feels like it was released not that long ago but it came out over 3 years ago. So much has changed since then when it comes to the demonlist and effect levels, and I feel like it was a big catalyst of that change

My sweat is cold

the effects in this one are timeless and iconic for 2021 but one other thing i see in this level that also changed gd is the gameplay. you can tell there's something unique and different about a level like cold sweat. comparing it to at-the-time demons like zodiac, you can tell gd's gameplay was starting to get sophisticated. you can see this similar trend in levels like nhelv or acu, the flow of gameplay has gotten more and more refined. personally when i think of 2021 demons, cold sweat is an iconic one that comes to mind

I have no idea why but more more you listen to the song the more you like it as turned into one of my favorites

This level is peak for an interesting reason. Back then this level feels like it was everything. Its rebellious to normal gd levels we have today. And i think that is because despite the repetitiveness of the gameplay, it stands out so well. For some reason i love it when a different part feels completely different depending on the song and if i need to give an example for it then this is the level to show it. Each part is completely different, there is not so much of a specific theme. But the way para chooses its effects make it the most iconic thing ever. This level just screams the best level ever. If i were to see this level the first time today, i would still be amazed by how good it is. Sure, the gameplay is pretty bad. But it feels like it belonged to be like that. This level is definitely the best hard level besides LIMBO
