  • I wonder if there has ever been someone who asked him "Why are you recording the Vending Machine?", only to be amazed by his answer "There are people in the world who don't have vending machines like these. So I'm showing them what they're missing out on."

"let me have this light breakfast" proceeds to buy 75 different dishes

Taiwanese here, just wanted to point out that everything he ate was very typical local dishes of what people would have everyday. The breakfast sandwich and the burger are not the ones you’d have imagined, they are very (and I mean *very*) cheap in breakfast restaurants. Usually for students or ppl who want to grab and finish them quickly. Oh and the word toast means the kind of bread in Chinese, not the action (or the result of that action.. you know what i mean). Personally I think the meals look way better than the other vending machine ones in other countries (no offense). I think mostly because these are served fresh and hot (ppl working there usually order them in groups/batches for lunch anyways) where as the other ones are just microwaved meal. Cheers

Just a note, due to the commonality of convenience stores in Taiwan, vending machines like this are rare sights. The aimed consumer group for this is not the public but people working in the building in order to save them time and money (less on the latter part, mainly because it's on the more expensive side compared to the cheaper options even for downtown Taipei)

These vending machines legitimately serve better food than our university cafeterias.

First sandwich description: Toast! Actual first sandwich: Whitest bread I've ever seen
  • I just want to thank you, Dancing Bacons, for helping me with my anorexia. I weigh 96 lbs @5'3" and have struggled with eating. Especially trying new and different things. Because of your vids, you've gotten me to try new foods, new combinations, and a willingness to eat more.. Thank you and Mrs Dancing Bacons 🥓 ❤

Had something like this at one of the IBM facilities I worked at in the NY/CT/NJ area. They had local delis come in and stock the machines with fresh food every day. Usually, by morning, they were mostly empty because all the late night changes after business hours. It's hard to find meals when you work late into the night and early morning. You know, when you get paged out for an outage at 1am and you know you're going to be there for hours... it was the perfect way to keep us happy.

This man here just clearing out these vending machines for our entertainment.

“Where should we go eat?” Him: “Vending machine.”
  • Reminds me of the old-fadhioned automats that we used to have in the U.S. Real plates and silverware, too, not plastic utensils and stuff. I'm 79 and barely remember them, but they fascinated me.

17:27 that gave me mini heart attack lol I thought that pizza gonna roll back to its place or fell down from that tray and he's gonna buy a new one 🤣

It's been 28 years since the last time I was in Taiwan. So much has changed. I'd love to check this place out. I hope I can eventually get back there one of these days.

No talking. Just straight to the point. Great video. The food looks delicious.
  • @MusiCkKid91
I really appreciate the low volume. No talking but no loud background noises.
  • @xesnox6122
If these were sold at my school, they would be double the price😭
  • I like how the tray catches it instead of having it dropping it all the way down.
  • @madamlt5758
Man, that bread is perfectly shaped with no crust. My kinda sammich.

I see a lot of comments about how disrespectful the first sandwich is. Personally I don't see a problem if you're looking for a quick snack. As a matter of fact I would eat that if I didn't have anything else to eat. I guess depending on the price of it then it could be considered disrespectful but for the most part it looks like a pretty decent sandwich
