What happened to Demi Lovato is absolutely atrocious. To be a child who was r*ped and then have to deal with the fact that nothing was being done about it is honestly rage inducing.

Demi’s story hits hard. I was sa’d as a kid by the principle’s kid, and when I told faculty about it, they brushed it aside saying “oh he’s just having fun! He’s just figuring things out!” They acted like it didn’t exist. My teacher thought he liked me, that’s why he did it. This taught me that SA only matters to adults unless the aggressor is a person related to or in power.
