She kinda reminds me of Heath Ledger's Joker, the way she tells a different backstory every time she's asked who she is, in the same way the Joker had multiple stories about how he got his scars. Maybe there was some inspiration from that.

Also, lots of people realized this, but the characters that asked her who are you seem to be alternate version of our legends. First is mirage, surrounded by decoys, then is crypto with same jacket and beard. Then i think is rampart and newcastle, then rev, ballistic and octane. Which would mean what she is haunting alternate version of apex legends and now going for our horizon

I think Alter somehow managed to unite her alternate timeline selves into one being which would explain why she has so many different "backstories" as though she maybe remembers all of her alternate timelines and that's why she's as crazy as she is.
Kinda like Everything Everywhere All At Once, with some kind of mental snapping point where she couldn't handle anymore of the timelines she converged. -
I’m pretty sure she says “则以听听” at 1:44 which really sounds like Cantonese.
I’m really hyped because I never hear my family’s language in much western media these days -
So Alter is a living Paradox tied with Horizon assuming she messed with timeline and the portals (green) from olympus teleporting is different from Alter's portal (purple) so they both are made by compeletly different person.

I feel the segment with the Bird's Nest is more like a Chinese idiom—'鸠占鹊巢' ('a pigeon occupying a magpie's nest'), which means unlawfully occupying someone else's territory or resources. It originates from pigeons laying their eggs in magpies' nests, hatching and then pretending to be magpie chicks, eventually killing the real magpie offspring. I believe Alter might indeed have stolen identities from other universes.

Alter is Crazy so some of the stuff she said maybe true but some lies. The reason Alter may be seeking out Horizon is because her time traveling maybe affecting different realities which could’ve destroyed alters home reality

I really like the Chinese mythology reference , that she was born from the stone fighting for immortality , the same thing Wukong the monkey king did, and guess what her appearance with a tail also resembles to the monkey king.....love it.
