Hey Brian, I just wanted to thank you and the guys for all the great draft coverage this year. All the hours and research you put into the content every year is really a treat for me. I have lived out of state for a while now and I don't have a lot of Seahawks friends so you guys are like my Seahawks family. I wish I could support you financially but my wife and I do not see eye-to-eye on that subject. I've learned being married for 14 years that I have to pick my battles and unfortunately you are not one of them. Lol That being said hawkblogger, Seahawks draft blog and the Seahawks Overload podcast are a big part of my NFL experience and I can't tell you how much I appreciate having you guys to share it with. I can't wait to see what this year brings our beloved Seahawks! Have a great evening. 🌜

We love Griff! :) I love how deep he goes into the chalk board. LOL NO ONE ERASE THIS comments by all on it.

Matty with his no fake accent priceless.
  • Your opinion is your opinion, and no one should hate you for that. I disagree with your underwhelming comment, but it is fair because it's your invested opinion. I heard there wasn't much depth in this draft, so Day 3 was the wild west based off who they like and the same with those like yourself that are invested. I believe people just don't like hearing criticism on the draft weekend, which is a weekend fans just want to have for optimism. So when you're criticizing the team's draft, you'll get unfair feedback from the majority just because of it.

The only thing I think fans can actually get annoyed with is when a team has a clear need at safety and there’s a guy who’s there in the 4th that’s high on everyone’s board and we pass on him and he goes on to become hof levels

I love that you have this collaboration with my other favorite seahawkers

Cool chat boys! Grade A's on R1 R3 R5 R6 as value vs aggregate big board is gr8 - on 5 of 8 picks ( great value man) ima happy 😊 Happy to let JS & Mac take a swing on 3x day 3 boys that they love, in the hope of hitting a home run. R1 R2 R3 matters much much more than day 3. (we avoided LJCollier & Malik McDowell types - that alone is a big win) As days 1 & 2 went so brilliantly well for JS & Mac, they took gambles in R4 for thier favourites. I think we can trust Mac as he has a proven track record of improving LB's a lot. A la Pat Queen. JS loves Dissly Barner blocking TE types with positive optimistic personalities. As per Mike Sando's deep dive research, a great draft is one where u get 1 pro-bowler (e.g R2 DKM) 2 solid starter (e.g R3 T.Lockett) 3 an OK back-up (e.g day 3 Stone Forsythe) An amazing draft occurs only once in a decade for only top 5 very good drafting teams & is where u find a HoF (Hall of Famer). Eg Sherman. Even if all the other picks fail but u get one HoF, its an great draft. Look at Hawks history, how many HoFs have we had in nearly half a century? I personally loved R1 Cobra BM2 & R3 Haynes, R6 Leameu & R6 DJ James the most, as they have the most upside potential to become future pro-bowl types ( a la Unger & Byron Maxwell & Sweezy ). If my fantastic four become stars we going to win SB's very soon. Thanks for the nice chats boys. I enjoyed this a lot on the way to work for a change mgt meeting with NHS executives. Yep, it won't be as fun as this. The age old tension between the optimistic impatient 12s - (i want a SB & i want it now, cuz I'm a hormonal impatient teen or age 81 & times running out) Versus High standard demanding 12s [ i want a dynasty as I'm age 30's-50's & want to enjoy a 20 yr run of 2 lots of 3 SB's in 5 year periods, thus ( = 6 SB's in 2 decades) a la Belichicks Pats 2001 to 2021 ]. That tension between the impatient 12s & the demanding 12s will never end boys. So learn to live with it as the 12s are an international family. As per Condotta's X - JS got Howell for a R7 on the Fitzgerald trading scale. Howell has better TD INT ratio stats than Josh Allen after 17 games, & he played with a very weak run game, WR's who dropped a lot of his TD's & passes, & OC's who got fired. The brits are usually right though, a la Winston Churchill warning america to help him take out Hitler in 1934 to avoid WW2 in 1939 & save millions of lives. (Relax ... i'm just teasing yanks are cool too, eg Walter Payton, Vince Lombardi, Pete Carroll, Prez Abe Lincoln & 12s very own Batman Brian Nemhauser & Nightwing Griff)🎉

Saw today that the report that Seattle tried to trade down for Michael Penix was not true
  • @timmoore8623
Not sure how often we change scouts so can’t tell if it’s consistently john dropping the ball or a “group effort”. I know we’re not scouts but I would say that there are definite needs we can all see and I’m not sure we hit on the later guys. Not everyone can be Lucas but we passed on players that we have “traits” that we could do with. That said Go Hawks 🎉🎉
  • @easiverly253
Why did McGee not get picked by any other team for 3 and a half rounds if he was so great?
  • If they were just to agree with the professionals, no one would tune in.
