Take them off tie a small piece (of twine ) through the hole and then tie it to the garland. You can make it into a bow or cut the excess off. Hope that makes sense. Seeing your daughter up on the chair washing dishes was precious. You go girl, start them young.. I did the same. Love it! Also, love your realness. Houses get messy, dirty and upside down. My husband and I are empty nesters. Only the 2 of us and sometimes I turn around and it looks like 10 people were living here. As long as there is love in the home who cares about socks left on the mantle (lol) or a smudge on the molding. Being a mom is a tough job . We can’t keep up with everything all the time. I love the layered look of your garlands! Could you take ornament hooks and hang the stars on the twine and bend the hook to keep the star facing forward? Or tie them onto the twine with smaller pieces of twine? Looks great!!! ❤
