Ever since "Glory in Death" started gathering comments a lot of people recommended me to write a song about the universe of Warhammer 40k. Personaly, I am a huge fan, so of course I was going to make a song about Warhammer 40k.
But I couldn't chose which chapter/race should I sing about. I feel a deep intelligent and emotional connection to the glorious faction of Orks, because daka-daka, choppa-choppa. And Spacemarines. And Grey Knights. But one of the comments suggested me making a song about... Krieg Korps. Hell yeah. These people are metal af, are afraid of nothing and always put their lives on the line.
So I decided that my first "serious" song about Warhammer 40k is going to be about Krieg (Boltgun doesn't count, it just was a very good boomer-shooter). I tried to encapture this... Fearlessness that Krieg people have, the desire to die for the right cause. I hope I did them justice :D

People try to bring horror of Krieg with metal and rock but really all we need is a good song and marching rhythm, fascinating song.

As someone who started getting into 40k last year with krieg being one of the first things I wanted to learn about I was so excited to hear a song about them.

The thing I find most intimidating/terrifying in the WH40K aren't the asteres, the necrons, the tyrinds, or chaos. It's the group of humans so zealous and fanatical that they they embrace death as the only penance for their sins. That they would charge a swarm of tyrinds with nothing but a shovel, hoping that they might be redeemed.

This channel is UNFORGIBLY unpopular. This is a masterpiece... If Stringstorm's song was melancholy and more about the tragedy of Krieg and perhaps a more humane side of them, and Grimwind's was more about their warlike side and the spirit of each soldier, then you.... you described the ENTIRE DEATH KORPS. Not through metal or a melancholy orchestra, but as the title says, through an anthem. The song described Krieg as a monolith, listening to this, the picture of armies marching towards the enemy, which has no end, pops up in my head. No hesitation, no fear.... Subscription guaranteed!

The title and chorus gave me major We All Lift Together vibes and now I can't stop imagining the population of Fortuna turning into the Korp after we left.

The anthem of my favorite Imperial Guard regiment was released on my eighteenth birthday, surely a sign from Holy Terra itself. The Emperor protects brothers, glory to the first man to die!

Another banger as always! Love how all the voices are blended together so no one is above the others. The only Glory is to die for the Emperor, for the sins of the past.
