  • My dad said my Grandpa was still using one in the late 40's into the fifties. My dad said he loved to hear it run, he said he'd come over sometimes just to crank it to hear it run. Dad said the steering was horrible. I bought an old Chevy Nova years ago without power steering, my dad drove it. I said, drives good doesn't it. He said yes, but it steers like an old Fordson tractor. I miss him when I see videos like this. Great video, thanks for posting it.
  • His patience with difficult engines is remarkable. Most would’ve thrown wrenches or cussed, but he just stays calm and keeps coaxing them to life.
  • One of the reasons why I love your channel is cause you repair things that are in so bad condition that no one would fix it!

Never a dull moment on this channel. Fun to see interesting machinery brought back to life again with minimal fanfare and no tension!

Awesome , 100 yr old tractor . It was a totally different world back then . To think this replaced a team of horses . Things have changed so fast in a short amount of time . Thanks for your passion for saving the old iron . That's 100% Virgin American Steel . That's why it's still here .

It is always cool to see old cars and equipment get a second chance at life. It's amazing to see these old rigs come back to life. Great video as usual
  • You never cease to amaze me. The Dr Frankenstein of automotive world.

Young Mr. Jennings, the "Engine Whisperer" !!! Man, it is Incredible how you can get these old engines running again! I could tell how hard you worked from the shine on the crank bar! You must have stood on that bar a few hundred times before she kicked huh? Thanks for another interesting video! Merry Christmas! peace

Jennings you’re the best! Please more videos. I know you’re a busy YouTuber, but keep cranking out videos. Can’t wait to see the tractor. Be careful of those fumes.
  • This was my family’s first, a fordson in the early 20’s. They had to sell it off to help pay for things.. always looking for one to get running ! Very cool.

Damn good job. I love to see these old machines saved. I hope we have a part two with a restoration. Thank you for posting.

The resilience of old machinery amazes me sometimes.
  • @alexstools
Hope to see more on the old tractor. See it working properly again :)

Old Henery Honk - the Dearborn Ford tractor. My father had one on the farm for mowing thistles. Its singular virtues were that it always started (after a bit of persuasion) and it never punctured a tyre (a useful aspect of having steel wheels)
  • Great job with the tractor! It's hard to have patience and tolerance when you're working on something and it just won't start. But as you can see perseverance does pay off!
  • Mr. Jennings…Great Job! I used to drive a Steel wheel Fordson on my Uncle’s farm early 1970s. It had a Buzz saw on the front and therefore we only used it to Buzz firewood. Once we got the Buzz Boxes working, it would run quite well. But, what a Rough ride with those steel wheels. I think that is why my Uncle made me drive it!
