How Ukraine is Breaking Through Russia's Naval Blockade

It's important to note that like 85% of the grain that comes to the Netherlands is just there to be redistributed. It's not for local consumption. It's a transportation hub.

I began working on this video a month before Russia withdrew from the Grain Deal and resumed attacks on Ukrainian shipping again, including several drone attacks that have been launched against Ukraine's Danube River ports that I mentioned within this video. I will release a follow-up later covering everything that's been happening since.

Probably the most comprehensive video about the Ukrainian logistical situation on the Danube. Romania has invested a lot in developing its ports to help with the new volume.

There is one broad gauge rail line going from Ukraine and it goes deep into Slovakia normally used to transport steel ore into the steel factory in city called Kosice which could be used to transport wheat to safety of Europe.

It’s also important to note that the Baltic States are also offering their ports for export. The idea is that if the grain can get and transit through Poland, we’ll deliver it from Riga, Klaipeda, Ventspils etc. Edit: Yes, I understand the grain would be going out of its way to be exported to the Baltics, however I think we’re in a situation where anything helps. As long as the grain gets out.

Australia sadly uses multiple train gauges between states and territories, it's really annoying. It would a worth converting them all just for the logistical profits, but it's too hard for governments to think about.

Maybe I'm exaggerating only because I'm romanian, but I think you Should have showed more images of Danube's Delta to show why the initiative was saw with bad eyes from some of us (and also because the bad history between Romania and Ukraine before the war) and also talk more about how Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Hungry told EU that they wont allow ukrainian grains to enter their country anymore if they dont only travel further away (many were sold in the said countries affecting their own farmers)

Why is the video titled "How Ukraine is Breaking Through Russia's Naval Blockade", when the conclusion is that they basically aren't?

I follow the Ukraine War developments very closely and I haven't heard anything at all about these other ports or region. Another insightful video!

I think a video about the Balkans geography and how that influenced the history and politics of that region would be very interesting.

My thoughts on Russian bloccades jumps to how Ukraine can break them. We've seen they can employ sea drones and Neptune missiles extremely effectively.

The port of Reni was actually attacked several days ago, with the bombardments being visible from Romania.
