Fritz Ungar was stationed in Oldenburg (Ol) at the end of ww2. He was quartered at the house of my grandparents at that time. ("Ausquartierung") and remained there for a period of time after the war. He remained in contact with our family until he passed away a few years ago. Flew with him early sixties from Ahlhorn in an Auster A.O.P., which was in use as as a club aircraft there at that time.
