What do you think about the changes Costco is making?

Almost half the population of my city is 55+ - removing the seating from the food court will be a DISASTER.
  • @tom8592
My only complaint with Costco is that they open too late in the morning, ours opens at 10:00 AM, I'm sure there's a lot of early risers that would appreciate 8 AM
  • Not just seniors need seating at the food court, families with young children too! Can’t tell you how often we have fed our children there after shopping. Personally it’s a nice way to rest after pushing a heavy cart around the store.

Seniors need the seats in the food court. Not everyone can stand up to eat after walking through the warehouse. Costco also NEEDS more HANDICAP parking. It’s impossible to find handicap parking unless you’re there before the warehouse opens. Instead of worrying about churros and cookies, pay attention to what your customers need.

Why would I want to stand to eat after walking around the whole store shopping ?. I just won't eat there or order food to go.
  • They need to keep the seats. What about Seniors and those with health issues. Costco needs to take care of their customers. They make so much money.
  • @jeandalton7108
No- I hope they don’t take the seats out! They are needed for elderly customers. I hope AARP steps in to advocate for the elderly!

Why would I want to buy a cookie from the food court for $2.49 when I can go buy a whole box in the bakery? Bring back the churro

Just left my Costco and stopped by the food court on the way out. About 20 people surrounding the kiosk to pay with a card and I walked up and paid for my hot dog with two dollar bills. I got my food instantly while everyone was standing around with a ticket waiting on their order. Some girl glared at me with daggers coming out of her eyes. Thank you Costco for still accepting cash!

A huge thank you for hiring a REAL human VO to narrate this! She sounds great!
  • @pozmarciv
Standing tables at the food court would suck..not sure why they would do that

What about Scan and Go so you can scan the products with your phone and pay on your phone and not have to wait in line. This is literally the only reason I shop at Sam’s because I don’t have time to wait in the long lines at Costco.

One of our favorite parts of our new Costco membership is the food court. If we couldn’t sit down honestly we would probably just cancel the membership.

All I want is the old chicken bake, polish dog, and combo pizza back... is that too much to ask for, Costco?
  • @Dstew57A
I want them to bring back the sheet cake….one of the best tasting cake ever
  • @acbc3543
I love Costco . They have quality goods and the best part : they take care of their employees.
  • As one of those seniors I'll just eat at home no thank you very much.
  • @tonjiakyle3236
People need to have a seat to eat. Especially if they have health issues. When you get done shopping you are ready to have a snack and sit down and rest.

I definately agree the seating in the Food Court is very very important . Also, as a "one" person shopper they need to have security around the Food Court as I have had expensive items stolen from my trolley whilst ordering the food where you have to leave your trolley aside. The ridiculous lines and delays for checkout as seen in parts of this video are by far to normal wherever the Costco I shop in various parts of the world and need to be focussed on for improvement.
