Trae Young is one of the most disrespected stars in the NBA, and it’s no secret that a lot of fans hate the guts out of this talented point guard. It’s not surprising that Young can put up stats because he’s one of the best at scoring the ball and making plays for others. However, he’s not one of the most popular stars in the league, even when his stats prove that he should be a perennial All-Star. And he’s struggled to win games despite having talented teammates in their own right. I still don't understand why the Spurs aren't falling all over themselves to try to get him. There's no better point guard available to get and Wemby covers up for any defensive flaws he has. Him being a great pure passer would be perfect for the young superstar and if they spend their draft pick on the big kid or other scorer to help Wemby, San Antonio is going to be loaded with all the scoring they need and just have to bring in impact defensive players to round out the squad.
