  • Right on Matt, enjoyed hearing your terminology on the flood gold. Here in my area flea poop flows with the lights and not the heavies. Sweet sharing of your passion with us. May all your pans smile at you Matt πŸ˜†βœŒοΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ’ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’―βš’οΈβš’οΈβš’οΈβš’οΈ

finally someone else figured this out... this year will be a HUGE GOLD RUSH!
  • Right on Matt. I believe you are correct about why that gold is there. I have hit spots on the yuba that gave me 75-150+ spec pans. Single pans. I can’t wait to go back. And great job as usual.
  • @GSProspecting
What a blast fam. Great job all around. Keep on having fun getting that au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out!!!
  • @chrisp2614
Nice to get out in early spring before it gets really hot.
  • @chrismorris5615
I think its in the lighter material because its simply newer gold that has been washed down and hasnt had time to sink to the bottom of the bedrock. Strait up tells you the gold is still washing from the hills and gullies into the rivers still, if humans were not around for 4 or 5k years picking up gold and prospecting it would end up littering the streams like in the original gold rush.
  • Great job editing man, video was great! One of my best days panning was under light sand with sticks mixed in, the gold just ends up in weird spots sometimes. Gotta look everywhere!
  • Hey Matt, Great video! keep up the great Job. Hope you can make it to the AMRA event this weekend... Be safe out there
  • @GramCanyonSam
I've found over 300 grams from that point to the beach ⛱️ below , your spot on with the light sand every bit of material pays at ol independence πŸŽ‰ even though it's been hammered by many it still pays every trip down
  • @Smithsgold
Good stuff !!!!! even with Robert !!!! LOL See you guys in July !!!
  • Gold in the top material, gold in the red oxidized sand, gold in the blond sand . Flood gold is found in flood layers? Excellent deduction! What country are you in? What river? You have an American accent, not Australia, Colorado, Arizona? are you in Northern California?
  • Another excellent video Matt. To bad you couldn't run a sluice. You guys would have killed it. I bet you will be back when the water drops. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‘
