Trackmania Speedrunners have been on a mission for the past 15 years to shortcut the official campaign tracks. On the track F-9, there's been a never ending stream of new shortcut ideas & world records. Whenever the limit was thought to be reached, players only got more creative. Welcome to the world record history of F-9.

I like how Eror didn't even bother to make his run look legit. "Just crash into the wall with no speed loss, surely nobody will question it" lmao

Bro these videos are better than most documentaries
  • @WilliamSyler
The best parts of this video are when all the cars go flying at once. It redeems my soul to watch those cars fly as a team.

"He knew that there was a little time to be saved" so he proceeded to spend dozens of hours trying to save 0.1 seconds you people are insane and I love you.
  • @KontrolYT
Raizo: does insanely difficult skip, beating another skip WR after thousands upon thousands of cumulative skip attempts from the community Video: still has 15 minutes left

Everyone: This is practically impossible. There is 0,000001% chance to pull it off. Trancmania players: So you're telling me there's a chance.......

There's actually a physics explanation to why airbraking works - it's done quite frequently in bmx racing; basically though braking transfers the rotational inertia from your spinning wheels into your frame, effectively making your wheel stop moving, and your frame continuing to do so. So if your wheel is attached to your frame, the vehicle has no choice but to rotate on that axis (which happens to be forward). This causes you to be able to stop pulling your nose up, and pull it down mid air. It's also for the opposite reason that acceleration midair causes the opposite rotation as braking It's a really cool real world thing that a lot of people don't realize exists irl
  • I had an experience with Pablogd about 7 months ago. I was in a random lobby competing for times on a track I forget the name of, and Pablogd joined out of nowhere. Most didn’t even notice him. Not until he set the course record and left some time after that. The entire server was PROPERLY shook. The man is a legend.

Trackmania has always had a special place in my heart. It was true, back then in the early 2000's there was no Epic game studio, Humble Bundle, Ubisoft... game stores where they would randomly give a game free every month. It was extremely rare to get a game completely free without a catch. As a kid that had to pay for his own games, finding a game free like trackmania was amazing, and the fact that I can play against other players online was even more awesome.
  • pablogd sets normal world record FWO: "we're paying people to beat this guy but you must use a shortcut" pablogd: "MY RECORD! Also, thanks for the money."
  • @Napert
Normal racing games: drive very precisely to compete Trackmania: yeet yourself into the finish
  • Pablogd have to be one of my favorite players in the world right now. Because he is so determined of this game and very heavy skilled.

This video is an embodiment of “you miss a 100% of the shots you don’t take” The dedication in these guys are ridiculous but inspiring

what i like with these documentaries is that they're standalone – in many cases, shortcut runs exploit bugs like nosebugs, uberbugs, etc, and wirtual always explain what the bug consists in – you don't need prior knowledge to understand the bug enough to understand the runs, and that's beautiful
  • @hardtack.
All of these cuts & records were the result of passionate dedication and creativity...! thank you to Wirtual awesomely spotlighting all things unbiased :)
  • @SillyWilly888
I love how no matter how many years go by, there is documentation on these legends that will never disappear from history. Forged forever in time.
