Bergen, Norway - After the crazy Trolltunga Hike, Steve and I packed up our Vrbo near Odda and continued our Norwegian road trip to Bergen.
Steve went off to find the best things to do in Bergen while I walked around the city in search of great Norwegian foods based on local recommendations.
From salmon sashimi at the fish market and reindeer sausage from a street stall, to the famous Norwegian brown cheese and traditional Norwegian dishes such as Lapskaus and meat balls.
It was a great day of eating in Bergen, Norway!

when you walked up the stairs it sounds like you are wearing shoes, never wear shoes indoors man... thats a sin
  • Hey, I'm from Bergen but live in New Zealand with my family now. I just want to tell you that you managed to capture my city amazingly. It was so authentic so real, I got me wery homesick and at the same time the filling that I was walking the streets of Bergen again. Thank you.

As a norwegian I'm happy to see others like Norway. The food is fantastic, but we eat it every day, so we don't think about it that way. But one thing I have to say - You can NOT buy brunost in done pieces(?) (My english writing skills is bad), you need to buy 500g and cut it yourself, and yes, with homemade strawberry-yam and butter is magic. Nice video bro

The thing about your videos is that, you're always giving us that feeling of solely talking to us. You don't just talk like you are reporting or narrating; you always make us feel like you are sharing your stories. You involve us. Just like that video of your travel to Cebu carrying your grandfathers picture. You made it feel so intimate, like we are with you on that search. Thanks always for a good and fun video. Excited for the next one.

brunost (brown cheese) is sooo much better on norwegian waffles than on bread!

Classical music fans should visit Edvard Grieg's home. When you look out the windows of the small cabin where he composed you can appreciate his inspiration.

Norway is such a beautiful country, one of, if not the most beautiful country I have ever been to. Too bad it is so expensive. :P

I spent 7 years in Bergen - in my late teens/early twenties - after moving there from London. It's such a small city, that I recognise every street you filmed on 😅 Thanks for the nostalgia! :)

Kudos for making it to 3 Kroneren in Bergen. Best sausages in Norway! ...and you do not get more authentic than with "kjøttkaker" (meatballs) - all Norwegians have a grand-ma who who has perfected cooking meat balls.

Thank You, will be there on Tuesday and now know where I am going to eat.
  • @9:01 It's nice to be reminded of the unforgettable view from Mt. Floyen! Wish I could have taken photos there if my battery had not run out.

Never had Norwegian cuisine but the way you tell the story in this video makes me want one, good job as always. BTW, that scenery while your on the funicular ride is spectacular.

The little « uuuh » at the end just killed me 😂
